DONATION TO HOSPICE HOUSE
Following Hurricane Charley in 2004, the church received insurance money and generous donations from around the country to use to repair the church building and help those dealing with the aftermath of the storm. In 2006, after the finish renovation of the storm-damaged church building and assistance provided to those in need, the remaining hurricane related money, $20,000, was donated to Tidewell Hospice toward the building of a DeSoto County hospice facilty.
